Every louver carries an aluminum security rod that passes from frame to frame. Close it and you have a wall of aluminum; open it and the house breathes — with no exposed bars on the façade.

Side-to-side security bars
An aluminum rod runs through each louver and anchors into both jambs. The integrated rods provide continuous protection across the opening even while the louvers are open for ventilation — the protection is inside the window, not bolted on the outside.
Aluminum louvers
Extruded aluminum blades, powder-coated with an electrostatic finish. Choose white, black or a custom color. They never rust, never warp, and clean with a cloth.
Glass louvers 4" · 6 mm
For rooms that want daylight: 4-inch glass blades in 6 mm (≈ ¼") monolithic glass, held in the same security frame. Clear, tinted or frosted. A 5 mm (≈ 3/16") glass option is also available for low-exposure areas.
Double anti-leak felt seal
Two felt seals per louver help reduce water infiltration during wind-driven tropical rain. Optional on every unit.
Crank operator
The window opens and closes with the operator system, which allows controlled, efficient opening and closing.
Heavy-duty extruded frame
6005 aluminum alloy, T5/T6 temper, with a powder-coated finish — designed under Colombia's NSR-10 seismic building code.
Insect screen & continuous airflow
The screen allows ventilation at all times while keeping insects out. It is an optional add-on for our window and must be requested when placing the order.

Security Fit Manufacturing and Distributors S.A.S. runs a new production plant in Barranquilla, Colombia: qualified people, high-technology machinery and a quality standard written for the tropics. Orders ship by container straight to Puerto Rico and the islands.
